For those that want a city experience Old Mill House is within an hour of Lincoln to the West, Hull to the North and Boston to the South.

 

Locally, we have the market towns of Horncastle and Louth within easy reach. Both have a Wolds setting…..Horncastle in particular is noted for its antiques trade.

 

For those that want a little more of the traditional seaside fun Skegness is just down the coast, with excellent beaches, nightlife and the fun park at Ingoldmells.

 

Lincolnshire offers a variety of outdoor sporting locations.  Cadwell Park is renowned for motor & motor cycle racing - while Lincolnshire golf courses  include the world class venue at Woodhall Spa.  For those that prefer horse racing, the course at Market Rasen offers a comprehensive calendar.   If you are an angler you will find Sea, Game and Course fishing in Lincolnshire.  Indeed, literally across the road from Old Mill House is Oham Lakes, one of the friendliest and best stocked coarse fisheries in the County.     

 

On a practical note, at the end of a long day when you could have visited any of the above, you might want a quiet drink in a local Pub.  Neighbouring Old Mill House is the Turks Head Pub,  an ideal solution to a relaxing pint…..and no one has to drive home!
